Ingredients
  

Burger Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20) for a juicy burger
  • 4 pieces brioche buns toasted
  • 4 slices American cheese for classic melty texture
  • 4 leaves lettuce fresh and crisp
  • 4 slices tomato ripe and juicy
  • 8 slices dill pickles adds tangy crunch
  • 1 tbsp butter for toasting buns
  • salt and pepper to taste

Secret Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and toast the brioche buns until golden brown.
  • Divide ground beef into four equal portions and shape into patties.
  • Season both sides of each patty with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet or grill over high heat and cook patties for 3-4 minutes on the first side.
  • Flip the patties, add a slice of cheese, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cheese melts.
  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika to make the secret sauce.
  • Spread secret sauce on the toasted buns.
  • Assemble the burgers by layering lettuce, tomato, pickles, and the cheesy patty.
  • Top with the second half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add jalapeños or crispy bacon to the burgers.
