  • 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 tsp baking soda fresh

  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, sift together 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 tsp of baking soda.
  • In another bowl, beat 1 cup of softened butter with sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture, stirring slowly to avoid over-mixing.
  • Gently fold in 1.5 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the center is slightly soft.
