Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 25 oz frozen cheese ravioli uncooked
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage, optional
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Layer half of the frozen ravioli, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the remaining marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with a final layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
