Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 tsp baking soda fresh
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract pure
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips high-quality recommended

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
