- 1 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
- 1 large yellow onion, diced adds sweetness
- 3 cloves garlic, minced for flavor
- 1 lb ground chicken can substitute with ground turkey
- 4 cups chicken broth low-sodium preferred
- 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces use gluten-free noodles if needed
- 1 cup heavy cream for creaminess
- 1 cup ricotta cheese adds richness
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese for flavor
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning for that Italian flair

- Start by heating the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Once the oil shimmers, add the diced onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
