  • 16 ounces lump crab meat use fresh for best flavor
  • 1 cup unprepared stuffing mix crushed
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise can substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 3 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning adjust to taste
  • 1 lemon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine stuffing mix, egg, mayonnaise, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice. Mix well to create a uniform base.
  • Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful to maintain its texture.
  • Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized portions and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Preheat the oven to broil and position the baking sheet about 6-10 inches from the heating element.
  • Broil the crab balls on high for 7-10 minutes until golden brown, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Let the crab balls rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

For extra crispiness, lightly spray the crab balls with oil before broiling. Serve with remoulade, garlic aioli, or cocktail sauce.
